READ EVERYTHING BELOW BEFORE SENDING IN THE FORM. EVERYTHING. Do not submit a form unless you fit the requirements. Due to the overwhelming response this has received, we are going to have to limit the number of review copies that are sent out.
It is not hard to get a free copy of I Hope They Serve Beer In Hell to review. All you have to do is want to review it and have some publication of note that will print your review. Or if you have a website/blog that gets substantial traffic, you can get a free copy if you link here or to the Amazon page that sells it.
If you write for/work for anything below you can get an advance galley to review:
-Any magazine with a monthly circulation over 70,000
-Any daily newspaper with a circulation over 50,000
-Any weekly newspaper with a circulation over 30,000
-Any commercial radio station in a major market or satellite station
NOTE: You MUST have a by-line on record with the paper to get a review. We will not send review copies to someone without a previous by-line.
If you write for/run any website that fits the criteria below, you can get a free copy for posting a link/reviewing it:
-Any website/blog with an Alexa ranking below 150,000
-Any website/blog with (verifiably) at least 2000 unique users a day and 30,000 unique users a month
-DO NOT ASK for a free review copy for a MySpace, StumbleUpon, LiveJournal, or Facebook profile or anything like that (and yes, lots of people have already asked).
You don't have to make me any promises about the tone or content of your review, you just have to promise to write and publish it and/or link to it. I don't accept restrictions on my writing, I am not going to ask another writer to accept them for his/her writing.
IF YOU ARE IN COLLEGE:
I will send a review copy to just about any major college newspaper at any English speaking university or college (this includes Australia, New Zealand and Great Britain). If you are a student and want to review the book for your school paper, then HAVE THE EDITOR fill out the form below and send it to me. For college newspapers, we will only send review copies to the newspaper office, care of the reviewer, not to your house or dorm. High school newspapers are NOT eligible. DO NOT ASK.
