Chicago weekend plans
September 24, 2009
We are coming back to Chicago for opening weekend! Chicago is not only one of the best drinking towns in America and where most of the book takes place, but it is our wide test market for the movie, so Nils and I will be in Chicago for the entire weekend to celebrate the opening of the movie and hang out with fans. Here is the deal:
If you go see our movie, “I Hope They Serve Beer In Hell” and bring your theater ticket stub with you to any of these three bars on any of the nights we are there, give it to me, and I will buy you a drink. Absolutely no shit–show up with the stub and first drink is on me.
This is where we will be partying at night:
FRIDAY NIGHT:
Faith & Whiskey
1365 W Fullerton Ave (at the intersection of Fullerton & Southport).
Chicago, IL 60614-2134

-We’ll probably get to each place around 9 or 10, and stay until at least 2am, maybe later.
-We are also going to have the tour bus with us on Saturday and Sunday, and we are going to park it at theaters and give out swag, but as of right now we aren’t sure which theaters we’ll be at. That info will be posted by tomorrow.
-I have a TON more to write about, and I still have to post the Tempe, LA, and San Diego write-ups and videos, but we are in a manic push to the finish, so that stuff will have to be put up later. Please be patient, I promise its all coming.
