OK, I know there are going to be questions, so let me try and preempt some of them:

-Tickets go on sale after we release the trailer, which will HOPEFULLY be next week. We are on track for a Thursday release, but that will probably change, because it always changes.

-I can’t believe our first premiere is in Portland, Oregon. How weird that a city I’ve never been to will be the first fully public screening. I am excited to visit though, I hear it’s a cool city.

-I have not put the names of the theaters we are showing in yet, because ALL ticket sales will be online, so I don’t want any of you bothering the poor theater owners yet. Of course when we start selling tickets, the theaters will be up there.

-Some of the stops will have more people there than just me, Nils, and Bill Dawes. Some will have Jesse, some will have Matt, some will have Geoff, and some other awesome surprise guests at a few venues. As soon as we can confirm, I will announce who will be where.

-For the Gilmore Girls fans: I am 99% positive that Matt will be at the NYC stop, as he is shooting a TV show in NYC until December.

-Look, I know there are a ton of cities we aren’t hitting that we could. But we had to make choices, and some were based on travel, some based on ease of finding a theater, some were based on opening weekend decisions, etc, etc. I wish we had the time for the tour to hit Ann Arbor, Charlottesville, Columbia, College Station, Clemson, Orlando, Tampa, Miami, Baton Rouge, Buffalo, West Lafayette, New Orleans, Denver, Albuquerque, Dallas, Houston, Stillwater, etc, etc, etc. But we don’t. I promise that if we do a sequel, we’ll do another tour and we’ll hit a ton of the cities we missed on this tour, and besides you can either travel to a Premiere or just wait until September 25th.

-Looks like we will be spending the Labor Day break in Toronto. So fucking excited. I have been to that city once, it was a fucking blast, and I can’t wait to go back. I have had like 500 girls from Toronto email me wanting to hook-up over the past few years. Get your pussies ready ladies.

-Nils and McKittrick and Jeff and the marketing people and I planned the tour, but the actual booking of the venues was done by Sean Bello at Campus Circle. God bless that man and that company, they did an amazing job with something that is very hard to do. Without his efforts, the tour planning would have been a complete cluster fuck.

-IF YOU ARE PRESS–you are invited to these, but you won’t be buying tickets, obviously. We are holding back a certain number of seats at each venue for local and national press and prominent bloggers, celebs, etc. If you fall into any of those categories, either you know our PR people and they will be getting in contact with you soon, or I will post next week about how to get in to a premiere.

I think that’s it. I am so happy and relieved to have this part finished. Now we just have to actually go on the tour.
